Mr. Rohan Jayaratnam
PRESIDENT
Rohan Jayaratnam holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B Hons) from Wales, United Kingdom. As a UK-trained law graduate, he brings a strong foundation in legal principles, corporate governance, and regulatory frameworks that support his strategic leadership within the recoveries and credit management industry.
He established Newvest Recoveries Sdn Bhd (Newvest) in 2006 and currently serves as its Managing Director, where he leads the company’s strategic direction and guides its overall expanding operations in Credit & Asset Management within Malaysia and also overseas.
In addition to his corporate responsibilities, Rohan serves as the President of AMCRA (Association of Malaysian Credit Recovery Agencies). In this role, he plays a pivotal part in promoting ethical industry practices, strengthening governance frameworks, and fostering collaboration among recovery agencies nationwide, contributing to the continued growth and professionalisation of the credit recovery sector in Malaysia.
